Developmental Disability Services Now/Comp Medicaid Waiver

Welcome to Brightstar Homes & Services, Inc.

We thank you for your interest in learning more about our service options. Brightstar Homes & Services, Inc. is, privately-operated and locally owned agency that has shown to be fully-capable of meeting the changing needs of individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities. We currently have Community Residential Alternative- CRA Homes, Life Sharing- Host Homes and offer Community Access Individual (CAI) and Community Access Group (CAG) Services (for active participation and independent functioning outside the home.)

Brightstar Homes & Services, Inc. takes pride in providing quality residential services to the developmentally disabled population. More specifically, we are committed to working with individuals with diagnosis’s ranging from medically fragile, mild to profound intellectually disabled with varied mood and personality disorders, autism, dual diagnosed individuals and individuals falling into the prescribed categories which may have linkage to the juvenile and adult justice system as well as state hospitals.

Brightstar Homes & Services, Inc. Community Access Services are designed to help participants acquire, retain or improve self-help, socialization and adaptive skills. Services for those individuals that would like, or need, more independence services. These services are designed during and ISP (Individual Service Plan) to meet the individual’s independent needs. These services can include a wide variety of community-based activities, with one on one staff (CAI) and services that are provided to groups of individuals (CAG). These services allow individuals with disabilities more access to participate in the activities of their choice, in their own community with the ability to live a more independent and productive life. Our Day Service Program is offered from 8:30am to 2:30pm, Monday-Friday.

Brightstar Homes & Services, Inc. ultimate goals are to support adults with developmental disabilities in their pursuit of developing life skills, interest and maximum independence. We strive to create and environment which fosters learning and self-sufficiency.
